I wish I could make someone's Met ball gown

The 2014 met ball in may this year will be a tribute to Charles James and will have a Charles James theme. that means lots and lots of pretty gowns and suits. Which means a beautiful graceful met ball. I wished I was a famous designer so that I could make someone's met gown or suit. Well it's a dream so maybe one day it may come true but I doubt that. But if I were a famous designer and I was invited by legendary Anna then I would so take someone I liked and make gowns. But then again dreams rarely come true but its still ok to dream...

LVMH fashion competition 2014

LVMH are having a fashion competition for young designers between the ages of 18 and 40 and the prizes are cash prizes. The applications close on February 2nd 2014 and the criteria and application sheet is found on the competition page. --------> LVMH competition

You can enter if you are a fashion student completing your last year this year or if you are a fashion designer.

I myself can't enter because I am under 18, so that makes me sad. But then again, they only want people who have the necessary requirements.

Starting my journey into Fashion design

At the moment I am starting my journey into fashion design and I'd like to share it with you. 

So far I've already designed things and practiced the couture embroidery. I've also brought a mannequin and lots of pearls, beads, ribbons, threads and tools. The draping and pattern making is quite hard but I know how to do it. I've also learned a lot about fashion as well. Now all there is, is to start the creating and bring the designs to life. Lets hope they turn out as good as I hope they'll be. Once i have completed something I'll share it with you. Wish me luck and I hope your journey is easier then mine. 

Armure and Fashion

Armure, I have created this because of one of my views on fashion. Armure is french for armour. I believe fashion is like an armour, it protects our bodies and dignity from nudity and draws attention away from whatever we want to hide or whatever we don't want people to see.
